REPORT GAI 8. 3. 2026 LOMNICE NAD POPELKOU, CZECH REPUBLIC
Již potřetí se naše akademie vydala na sympatický zimní stadion do Lomnice nad Popelkou. Po vřelém přivítání od pana správce trenéři nachystali obě šatny a po doladění detailů na celý den u kávy na náměstí už vyhlíželi přicházející brankáře a brankářku spolu s jejich doprovody.
Po úvodním slovu, přivítání a představení programu dne se trenéři František Brázdil, Marcel Ondráš a Michal Martinčík spolu s partou gólmanů naplno pustili do tréninkového procesu.
Začínalo se lehkým rozjezdem v rámci rychlého povídání v šatně na téma „Rozcvičky očí“, doplněné o video. Na rozcvičce, která následovala, si brankáři některé cviky rovnou vyzkoušeli. Po pořádném zahřátí a naladění hlav na celou gólmanskou neděli už následoval led.
Na ledě byli brankáři rozděleni do čtyř skupin. Zapracovali na práci s hokejkou, která je v moderním hokeji stále důležitější, a také v brankách na stanovištích se střelci a střelbou. Tématicky zaměřená stanoviště na konkrétní dovednosti, která byla brankářům a jejich rodičům představena v šatně před ledem, rychle odsýpala a hodina utekla velmi rychle.
Po ledě, na kterém i přes náročnější pasáže panovala stále dobrá energie, se brankáři protáhli a poté již mohl následovat oběd v restauraci přímo na zimáku, kde dobré jídlo doprovázelo příjemné praskání ohně z přilehlého krbu.
Aby si oběd hezky sedl, po chvíli volna si gólmaníci udělali pohodlí u televize, kde se slova zhostil trenér Brázdil, který s brankáři probral, jak na ledě získat v zápasech více času pomocí návyků, metod a tipů, které pomáhají být vždy o krok napřed a připraven. Skupina se aktivně zapojovala do diskuzí, které trenér Brázdil nahazoval. Ještě před druhým ledem se také stihl rychlý fotbálek.
Druhý led utekl stejně rychle jako ten první. Uprostřed plochy brankáři pilovali dovednosti při bruslení. V brankovoštích pak práci hokejkou a pohyb v brankovišti doplněný o střelbu. Poděkování opět patří také místním střelcům, kteří pomáhali trenérům na stanovištích a ti tak měli více času na brankáře.
Po druhé hodině mezi mantinely se opět všichni, stejně jako na začátku potkali v šatně.
Po shrnutí celého dne a rozdání diplomů čekala trenéry milá povinnost v podobě předání puku pro nejlepšího brankáře celého kempu. Speciální puk podepsaný panem Višňákem, který aktuálně bojuje v play-off se svým týmem v rámci svého italského angažmá. Této pocty se dočkal Jiřík, kterému jménem akademie moc GRATULUJEME.
Na úplný závěr, ještě než se trenéři rozloučili a probírali s rodiči jejich individuální otázky a aktuální situace, se neopomnělo ocenit maminky, které svůj svátek, tedy Mezinárodní den žen, strávily se svými dětmi na zimáku při naší akci. Každá žena tak dostala od trenérů pozornost v podobě kytičky.
Děkujeme všem gólmánkům a gólmance i jejich doprovodům za krásnou neděli plnou píle a pozitivní energie. Moc se těšíme na další akce GOALIE ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL, třeba právě zase v Lomnici nad Popelkou, kam se rádi vracíme.

Také nechci zapomenout zmínit náladu a nastavení rodičů, kteří byli velice dobře nastaveni a pomohli nám společně vytvořit skvělé prostředí pro brankáře a brankářky v příběhu celého dne na kempu. Bylo to o efektivitě, tvrdé práci, ale také o super náladě, energii a celkové atmosféře - a v tom se výborně pracuje."

ENGLISH:
For the third time, our academy visited the friendly ice rink in Lomnice nad Popelkou. After a warm welcome from the arena manager, the coaches prepared both locker rooms and, after fine-tuning the details for the day over coffee on the town square, they were already looking forward to welcoming the arriving goalies along with their families.
After the opening words, welcome and introduction of the day’s program, coaches František Brázdil, Marcel Ondráš and Michal Martinčík, together with the group of goalies, fully immersed themselves in the training process.
The day started with a light warm-up in the form of a short talk in the locker room on the topic of “eye warm-ups”, complemented by a video. During the physical warm-up that followed, the goalies immediately tried some of the exercises themselves. After a proper warm-up and getting their minds ready for the whole goalie Sunday, it was time to hit the ice.
On the ice, the goalies were divided into four groups. They worked on stickhandling, which is becoming increasingly important in modern hockey, as well as on drills in the crease at stations with shooters and shooting drills. The skill-focused stations, which had been introduced to the goalies and their parents in the locker room before the ice session, moved quickly and the hour passed by very fast.
After the ice session, where a good level of energy was maintained even during the more demanding parts, the goalies stretched and then it was time for lunch at the restaurant directly in the arena, where the good food was accompanied by the pleasant crackling of a nearby fireplace.
To let the lunch settle, after a short break the young goalies made themselves comfortable in front of the TV, where coach Brázdil took the floor and discussed with them how to gain more time during games on the ice by using habits, methods and tips that help them always stay one step ahead and prepared. The group actively joined the discussions that coach Brázdil initiated. Before the second ice session, there was also time for a quick game of football.
After summarizing the whole day and handing out diplomas, the coaches had a pleasant duty – presenting the puck for the best goalie of the entire camp. It was a special puck signed by Mr. Višňák, who is currently competing in the playoffs with his team during his engagement in Italy. This honor went to Jiřík, to whom we warmly CONGRATULATE on behalf of the academy.
At the very end, before the coaches said goodbye and discussed individual questions and situations with the parents, the mothers were also recognized. They had spent their holiday, International Women’s Day, with their children at the rink during our event. Each woman received a small gift from the coaches in the form of a flower.
We would like to thank all the young goalies and the goalie girl, as well as their families, for a beautiful Sunday full of effort and positive energy. We are already looking forward to the next GOALIE ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL events – perhaps once again in Lomnice nad Popelkou, a place we always enjoy returning to.

“Today’s camp had great energy and atmosphere, which was mainly created by the goalies themselves! The overall mood was fantastic and the goalies were very attentive and open to everything that happened during the day – whether it was working with the stick with coach Míša, who handled it excellently, or the work in the crease where we focused on controlled movements, positioning and orientation in the crease, as well as the rotations that we often talk about and that were also the topic of a lecture during the lunch break.
I also don’t want to forget to mention the mindset and attitude of the parents, who were very positive and helped us together create a great environment for the goalies throughout the whole story of the camp day. It was about efficiency, hard work, but also about a great mood, energy and overall atmosphere – and that’s the kind of environment where it’s great to work.”
